Off and Running
Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 11:23PM It was a long time coming but our launch service finally happened last Sunday, August 30th. The team that had grown to nearly 70 people had been meeting every Saturday night since December at Amherst Baptist Church strategizing, discussing, and praying for the official launch of NorthGate as a Christian Community that reaches out and transforms the lives of individuals, families, schools, and communities around it. Over 200 people came out for the "launch" service at the AMC theater in Amherst including The Buffalo News and Channel 4 to report on what was happening. For me I think the coolest thing was just seeing it all come together at last and the fact that we were really seeing the vision become a reality.
