Jesus reveals himself to those that pursue Him. Women were a key part of Jesus’
ministry and life. God used ordinary women to bring change to the world. This was
counter culture during this period of time. Women were not able to vote or have many
other normal privileges. Jon shared that Mary, the mother of Jesus, experienced a
different reality that what she was expecting. Her expectations didn’t account for the
death that He would die and the deep pain she would carry. Jesus does not give up on
us!
